So – despite the fact that I’ve been sick most of the year – I have still managed to help Bunny get the garden planted and going. We’ve had a pretty good harvest so far – with a good showing for our green beans, snap peas, onions, lettuce, radishes, spinach, okra, potatoes, berries, peppers, and squash.
A couple of stats thru May 2018:
304 green beans
102 snap peas
Then – we started having a rash of exceptionally hot weather in the 90’s starting in Mid May. That of course caused most of our lettuce and spinach to bolt shortly thereafter. However – it also kicked the summer squash and okra into gear. You win some, you lose some.
